Thursdays mornings throughout the golfing season are designated for the ladies of Inverness Country Club. Come and enjoy a round of stroke play golf that includes a “Game of the Day” and light snacks afterward. It is a fun, casual, and organized golf program for all interested women members. There are flights to reflect the differing skill levels of each golfer, and prizes for each flight. Groups are changed weekly to give everyone an opportunity to play with each other as the season progresses. Once each month, on the third Thursday, a special “Guest Day” activity is planned along with a luncheon afterward at the Clubhouse.

Guide for Ladies’ Day Golf
Annual dues of $30 payable by July 1.
Local rules will be in effect on holes #5 & #6. Declare before you drive if you are going to hit off the tee or from the designated drop area. If you use the drop area, you are then hitting 3. USGA rules are in effect otherwise.
Two persons in each group must keep a scorecard. All scorecards must be dated, attested, and current handicap deducted to give the net score. All GAM members must record their scores on the recording sheets in the Pro Shop so handicaps may be updated. As handicaps change throughout the season, please check before you play so your current updated handicap can be used. Take one card to the clubhouse for “ringers” and “game of the day” scoring.
Ladies’ Day Weekly Play
Be at the Pro Shop 15 minutes before sign-in time. Have a sign-in sheet available on the porch. Arrange pairings and tee assignments. Send golfers to each tee in order to begin promptly at the indicated shotgun start time.
Furnish light snacks and beverage. Coffee/Tea is in the Ladies’ Day cupboard. The keys to the Clubhouse and cupboard are available in the Pro Shop. Clean up the Clubhouse and take out the trash. Return key to the Pro Shop. Reminder: You are responsible for arranging your own substitute for events which you are signed up to hostess.
The Ringer Board can be found in the Clubhouse. On the first day of play, hand in 2 scorecards at the Clubhouse. After the first score is recorded by the Ringers Chairperson, each player will make changes on her own ringer scores after each weekly round.
